What is a subscription?

With a subscription, you pay to access content from an app or service for a period of time. For example, you might subscribe to a video streaming service on a monthly basis. Subscriptions automatically renew unless you cancel them. Learn about the types of subscriptions and other in-app purchases.

If you signed up for a free or discounted trial subscription and you don't want to renew it, cancel it at least 24 hours before the trial ends.

If you cancel, you can keep using the subscription until the next billing date. If you cancel during a trial period, you might lose access to content immediately.

Canceling subscriptions is slightly different in Israel, South Africa, and Turkey. Learn about special circumstances for these countries and regions.

How to change or cancel subscriptions on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

1. Go to Settings > [your name] > Subscriptions.
   
2. Tap the subscription that you want to manage.
   Here's what to do if you don't see the subscription that you want.
3. Choose a different subscription option, or tap Cancel Subscription.If you don’t see Cancel Subscription, the subscription is already canceled and won't renew.

You can also manage subscriptions when you go to Settings > [your name] > iTunes & App Store. Tap your Apple ID at the top of the screen, then tap View Apple ID. Scroll to Subscriptions, then tap it.

How to change or cancel subscriptions on your Mac

1. Open the App Store app.
2. Click the sign-in button or your Apple ID at the bottom of the sidebar.
3. Click View Information. You might be asked to sign in with your Apple ID.
4. On the Account Information page, scroll to the Manage section. Next to Subscriptions, click Manage.
   
5. Click Edit next to the subscription that you want. Here's what to do if you don't see the subscription that you want.
6. Choose a different subscription option or click Cancel Subscription. If you don’t see Cancel Subscription, then the subscription is already canceled and won't renew.

View, change, or cancel subscriptions on your Apple TV

You can only edit subscriptions for tvOS apps that are installed on your Apple TV. For Apple TV (3rd generation or earlier), you need to use an iOS or iPadOS device or computer to manage your subscriptions.

1. Open Settings.
2. Select Users & Accounts, then select your account.
3. Select Subscriptions.
   
4. Choose the subscription that you want to manage. Here's what to do if you don't see the subscription that you want.
   
5. Choose a different subscription offering or select Cancel Subscription. If you don’t see Cancel Subscription, then the subscription is already canceled and won't renew.

On other devices

• If you subscribed to the Apple Music app on an Android or Chromebook device, open the Apple Music app, tap the menu button , then tap Account > Manage Membership.
• If you use the Apple TV app on a smart TV, open Settings, then go to Account > Manage Subscriptions.

If you don't have an Apple device anymore, download iTunes on a PC or contact Apple Support to change or cancel your subscriptions.

1. Open iTunes.
2. From the menu bar at the top of the iTunes window, choose Account > View My Account.
   
3. Sign in with your Apple ID, then click View Account.
4. On the Account Information page, scroll to the Settings section. To the right of Subscriptions, click Manage.
5. To the right of the subscription that you want to manage, click Edit. Here's what to do if you don't see the subscription that you want.
   
6. Choose a different subscription option or click Cancel Subscription.

A Family Sharing organizer can’t manage subscriptions for other family members. Ask your family members to view, change, or cancel their subscriptions from their own devices or when they are signed in with their own Apple ID. You can also use Ask to Buy or Restrictions to control what kids buy.

If you received a fraudulent email about a subscription

If you received a fraudulent email about a subscription or Apple Music charge, you won't see the subscription when you check on your device. If you received an email and you're not sure if it’s real, check to make sure that it's a legitimate email from Apple.

If you subscribed with a different Apple ID

You might have been signed in with a different Apple ID when you originally subscribed. Sign in with that Apple ID and check to see if your subscriptions are billed to that account.

If you still can't see your subscription and you signed up inside an app (not through a third-party provider), contact Apple Support.

love it, but ugh

i’ve used instasize for YEARS now, before they ever had the subscription deal, and before you had to make an account for instasize. i used it so much that i purchased about 3-5 different filter packs about a year or two ago. but recently, the developers changed to a monthly subscription instead of buying certain packs. when they did that, i lost all the filters i bought.
i would gladly get the subscription, but i already spent about $10+ on filters i used constantly that were just taken from me, and i’m also a teen who doesn’t have a job, so i can’t exactly always have the money for said subscription.
i tried emailing the company about this, because it really irritates me that i spent money...on basically nothing now, but it wouldn’t go through, in a way that makes me think the email listed in the app description doesn’t work.
i want to know if these filters can somehow be restored or something, because i even hit “restore purchases” and nothing happened. idk if it’s because i didn’t have an instasize account or what, but it’s really, really frustrating.
***edit: problem solved!!! amazing customer service, seriously it’s unreal, and it’s still the best app i’ve ever used for editing !!!

This is a rip-off

I installed instasize a very long time ago because I could edit videos as well as pictures using cool filters and editing tools. I do remember that I had problems with ads in the past and that I was working with a very limited editing and filter selection, which made me extremely sad. So I deleted the app. It resurfaced on my dash because some of my friends started downloading this app. It was advertised so well that I thought of getting this app again. I was offered over 80 filters and cool editing tools and I could not believe it. So I downloaded it and I instantly regret it. In order to use the app to its full creative extent, I have to pay unnecessary money. I have an even more limited amount of filters than when I first downloaded the app, and I can barely even get through editing a picture without so many ads popping up. Honestly, it’s like the app is infested with ads. I would have considered the continual use of it bad there been an upfront price I could pay instead of a subscription. This ain’t some high end product deserving of even considering a subscription. It’s best to just stick with VSCO because there at you least have a good amount of filters, there aren’t ads, and no subscription. They have options to purchase filters and the prices are manageable. This app has disappointed me a second time and I won’t let there be a third time. A waste of space on my phone.

The premium upgrade will give you full access to ALL of our editing tools and filters, including our beauty tools section. Best Instasize App For Iphone

Honestly I love using this app! It gives me the option of using soo many things for free! I would however love if their were more backgrounds available.. for example like a birthday background or a celebration background for those special pictures that you want to post about someone else's birthday or even yours! THAT WOULD BE AN AWESOME BACKGROUND!! Keep up the good work!

I do love that the creators of this app took my advice on adding Birthday backgrounds that you can customize and new backgrounds for certain holidays. I’m disappointed that they took that and decided you can only add those certain filters if you pay for the app for every month or if you do the trial. I remember that you used to be able to download them and use them for the holidays and they would disappear after a certain time. Oh well. As much as I love this app because it’s so easy to use it looks like I might need to look into a new app for my pictures. It was good while it lasted. Thank you for considering my ideas though. It’s nice to know that their are people that listen to one persons feedback.
